Our mission is to foster intelligence and civilization. Our Dream is a world ruled by Poetry and Science. It all starts with reading and thinking and concentration. Have you ever wondered how people that lived in the 17th Century. People that still believed the Sun and the Stars revolved around the Earth or that Bleeding you would cure your sickness could craft a document to govern this country for so many years and still works beautifully?

Here's my theory, remember that transportation was walking or horseback riding, that there was no Radio or TV, roads are made of dirt and by roads we mean trails made by carts and horses. People didn't get around much, for the most part the only time you saw your friends and neighbors was in Church on Sunday. This was an all day affair, after the service people socialized. Those few that could read would bring newpapers and pamphlets when the had them. This was the post office, letters were delivered, read, and written. This was the time you learned all the gossip and news.

Then you went home and thought about what new news you had heard Sunday and discussed it with your family for the next 6 days. And they were quiet days doing repetitive work that let your mind wander.

 

Today we make snap decisions the radio or TV is on the phone rings all day long. We see world events unfolding in 30 second clips. We elect people on their charm factor or they tow the party line. Life moves so fast, it's my theory that ADD caused by rapidly changing videos. They train our children to start looking for the next change as soon as they register the current one. Is it any wonder they can't concentrate for any length of time? After a few seconds they're waiting for the world to pop out a new scene.

 

 Our mission is to use writing and poetry to produce beautiful images in your mind. it takes time and effort to read words on a page and transform them into beautiful imagery in your mind. It takes Time and effort to transform the beautiful images in your mind into the words that give these images to others.
